The founder, Mrs. Helen Carla Wolterstorff-Parabirsing is the person who started the optician business in the Watermolenstraat 42 where it still is located today. She is the mother of Monique van Nassau-Parabirsingh, the actual manager who has kept the well known quality characteristic of “Optiek Modern” yet keeping track of the actual trends.
